Hi, I am Talha. I learned my first origami, the Jumping Paper Frog, as a preschooler, guided by my friend, and it intrigued me so much. My earliest experience in crafting was making a Paper Fan that started spinning when I lifted it below the ceiling fan. I would be doodling on paper almost all the time.
Later, when I grew up a little, with the confidence I gained through years of blogging and my exposure to the work of numerous crafters, I rekindled my lost hobby. And now, with the creativity I’ve acquired, I started Craftshive.com.

Through this blog, I have simplified the complex task of learning origami by adding Arrows and Lines directly on the picture of the model at every step. I am also showing the before and after of the model, which helps you understand how the paper will evolve without having to experience it yourself.
Traditionally, origami Diagrams served that purpose, but they are unclear and intimidating to beginners. So, by spending hours on even a single model, my origami guides are much more beginner-friendly and detailed.
Realising the need for video instructions, I have also started Youtube channel for teaching origami basics like Petal Fold and origami bases.
I am also interested in stuff like doing mathematics, learning other crafts like crochet and knitting.

I weekly curate The Most Creative Ideas of the Week from Crafters of other easy crafts like yarn plushies, pipe cleaner crafts, and more. Here, I have collaborated with many prominent crafters in the community, and each discussion is the result of that collaboration. This way, I can support them, too. 😇
