Most of the origami is probably done for gifting. So, on your next holiday, meet up with friends, not gift with these 6 ways to make origami holiday gifts and gift holders that, in my opinion REALLY CREATIVE.

As there, I have a gift box with face and arms, a candy cane with a small stationery box, and Christmas characters holding greeting cards and small gifts.

Excitedly, these crafts are for Christmas, New Year, Birthdays, and the Among US paper cutouts are for many more types of holidays. I should not be sure when you will gift, all I know is they are easy and really cute and colorful.

1. Smiling Origami Gift Boxes

Let’s make these cute origami gift boxes (yes, cute) for juniors, as they feature paper arms and a marker face, making them nothing less than playmates.

Won’t you want to see someone smile during gift-giving? If yes, then make these gift boxes and put candies, small plushies, or chocolates inside, and they will be delighted.

Actually, they are not so small, so you will also have to be a bit generous while filling them.

Make many with different kawaii eyes, smiles, and colors, and place them on your tables or desks for decoration.

You’ll need:

• a sheet of paper 21×21 cm/8х8 inches for the box
• a sheet of paper 16×16 cm/6×6 inches for the lid

What you must find more delightful is how you can put it together from just one paper sheet.

To finish, tie a loop on one side of the candy, and then you can hang it. Make with a patterned sheet or with different colors and say, “How nice it looks.”

We will need:

• A4 sheet (21X30 cm / 8×11.5 inches, preferably thick paper) – for a big candy

or half an A4 sheet (21×15 cm / 8×6 inches) – for a little candy

• glue

• Ruler and pencil

4. Candy Cane Gift Holder Origami

Origami candy cane in itself is a gift, and now you can make these origami candy cane boxes that can hold little candy cane candies.

The whole of December is about Christmas, so why not make this a pencil case? I must say how cute it looks with the kawaii face drawing.

Before gifting, you will tie a ribbon, and things will stay tightly closed. Yup, two chocolate bars can fit inside it.

Plus, either in green or red, they look so appealing.
