Crafter Alice of Hello Origami

origami characters

Whether it’s from a comic, anime, cartoon series, or a Sci-fi movie, we have our own favorite characters. Since I cannot account for all of you, here are some REALLY NICE out-of-this-world origami characters that I suppose you would like.

They are cute, kids will love them, and you can also find some new origami and paper craft techniques while crafting them. And as it happens, always, we shall DIY them in unusual colors, face drawings, and find some ways to make them functional.

Yes, that’s it. I have the two dragons, Pikachu, Godzilla, Hello Kitty, and the Stitch basket. So, why not see them yourself?

Paper Character ORIGAMI CRAFT IDEAS

Craft #1: Make An Origami Dragon

QUICK Paper Dragon

You must not say an origami dragon is for experienced folders. In fact, you can make an origami dragon just like an origami Crane because this one is so simple and cute. It can be played as a finger puppet and needs no glue.

After finishing folding your origami dragon, draw small spots and kawaii eyes.

Make many in different colors (red, green, and black are so nice) and never forget the method. These are so tiny, you must love them.

You will need:

  • sheet of paper 12 × 12 cm/5×5 inches
  • markers

Craft #2: Make An Origami Godzilla

CUTEST ORIGAMI Paper Godzilla

These are cute origami Godzillas. If you think you can craft them, make them also in red and green. The catch is that they need no support to stand.

You might thinking write, since you can craft these Godzillas just from a single sheet of paper.

After you finish folding, the spots and eyes need to be drawn just like the dragon origami.

Craft #3: Make An Origami Hello Kitty

Origami Paper Hello Kitty

You don’t need to look far; I am also a fan of Hello Kitty. And yup, these origami Hello Kitties are in medium height and stand without support. They need little space, so you can also hang them from the wall.

Along with folding, you must, however, make sure to have good coloring skills and also good drawing skills. I am not sure which one you will pick, but I will go with the Hello Kitty blue outfit.

Craft #4: Make An Origami Rainbow Dragon

CUTEST ORIGAMI Dragon Puppets

Not to mention, these are the coolest DIY dragon paper puppets for kids. When you bring your thumb and remaining fingers away from each other, these dragon puppets open their mouths.

I am pretty sure you are going to follow the trend, so don’t hesitate to upload a reel of playing with it.

The rainbow colors and everything are just so well-settled. Again, not to mention, you can make it in two versions: unicorn or wild dragon.

Craft #5: Make An Origami Rainbow Stitch

And here comes an out-of-the-world paper craft, that’s really useful.

I am talking about this origami Stitch pencil box, which seems cute, right? Maybe you also liked the Stitch ears.

Just to mention, this craft comes from Lilo & Stitch, so don’t forget to watch that, too.

Draw the face as it is, and also glue the eye cutouts; that’s all I have to say.

Craft #6: Make An Origami Pikachu

This out-of-the-world origami is also interesting. You are gonna craft a little origami Pikachu jumping toy. When you press the back and release, it will jump back cheerfully.

Craft your Pikachu with different mouth drawings and play with your friends. The size is similarly adjustable, so call your freinds, too.
