10 Ways to Craft No-Origami Paper Snowman for Kids : Crafts Hive

We are not yet done with the ZERO-folding snowman crafts for kids. There are 10 more ways to craft a no-origami paper snowman that I wanna discuss with you in this post. All of them are REALLY creative, COLORFUL, and kawaii.

Like make a snowman from a zig-zag fold paper plate, circle cutouts, tissue paper roll, chain, and the strips.

Kids can play with them as press toys, bounce-back toys, and rockers. These snowman crafts are for winter, NEW year, and holiday presents.

Way #1: Craft Paper Snowman with Paper Dish & Cutouts

With accordion-fold paper plates, you can make a paper snowman with shaking arms. For sure, it is fun to play and cute.

To make the plate, join two accordion-folded A4 sheets side by side using the glue. After knotting a cord in the centre, join the ends to make a circle and glue.

Then just take the cutouts for making the snowman head, hat, arms, buttons, and scarves. Then simply glue them on the paper plate.

You should be better at drawing and coloring for this craft. Make it in different colors.

Way #2: Craft Paper Snowman with Paper Dish Only

Craft a paper snowman using the snowballs made from zig-zag fold paper plates.

Because the paper is folded using an accordion fold, the snowman’s head and body will spring when touched.

That’s why kids are gonna love this craft. This snowman is large, and you can craft the eyes in a funny or kawaii style.

To make the plate for the head, cut an A4 paper in half. For the body, use two A4 papers.

You should cut the carrot from a drawing. The same goes for the eyes, button, hat, and scarf. So, will you try this one?

Way #3: Craft Paper Snowman from Paper Rolls

Use a 12cm by 20 cm paper sheet and some colored crepe paper to craft this quick and easy snowman table buddy. If you want to recycle the tissue paper roll, paint it in white.

Simple as it seems, you can craft your snowman in different heights and diameters of a paper roll.

Just glue the sides to make the roll. Take cutouts for the carrot from orange paper, and cutouts from crepe paper for the scarf.

Take a black marker to draw the face and smile. Plus, glue the sheet around for the beanie.

Try not to make the knot, but glue the centre inward and wrap a strip of sheet around for the knotted look. That’s all. Make it for kids.

Way #4: Craft Paper Snowman from Paper Strips

This snowman paper craft is easy and REALLY Creative. From the 3 paper rolls of different widths and diameters, you will make a chain, or I should say, the body of a snowman.

Interesting? Yes. The catch here is that you can make it stand without the support.

Even more, you can play with this paper snowman as a rocker. This can be done when you follow the gluing steps carefully. Use white paper sheets:

Way #5: Craft 3D Paper Snowman

Welcome the NEW year with these googly-eyed eyed excited paper snowmen with a paper globe body and slouchy hat.

There are two catches: the head of the snowman has a paper spring, and the paper globe also bounces funnily.

So, I bet kids won’t help but love this winter, Christmas, and NEW year gift. The crafting is simple.

Take four 1.5 cm by 23 strips of white paper. You will put the strips on top of each other. They will be crossing at the center like a star or snowflake.

Join the ends to make the globe. The remaining steps just need cutting, drawing, and gluing.

Way #6: Craft Paper Snowman from Cutouts

Craft this glittered earmuffs paper snowman for kids. This is simple, cute, and quick. Just take two cutouts of a circle from the white sheet and the glitter sheet.

A pipe cleaner for the earmuffs. Draw and cut the sticks, and glue everything onto. It can be attached to a greeting card for Christmas and the NEW year.

Way #7: Craft a FROZEN Snowman on a Store-Bought Dish

I must say this the REALLY fun and out-of-the-box snowman craft. Here is the idea: FROZEN snowman mascot on popsicle board skiing in the snow scene.

Then make the cutting in the plate for the snowy hills. Go on with attaching the mascot cutout with a popsicle and pass through the plate.
