Single pom pom challenge always results in some REALLY creative and cute sphere plushies. Let’s discuss these 6 ways to craft sphere plushies that you should craft this Valentine’s Day for sure. With the clever use of the felting wool, felt, and pipe cleaners, we would be able to add nice features to each yarn plushie.
There will be video instructions for two Pokémon plushies, two bug plushies, and two way heart plushies. These will be the ultimate the stress-toyes, bag charms, and keychains.
The catch is the same; they need a single pom pom. You will also learn how to make a patterned pom pom, which is REALLY nice.
Way #1: Craft A Love Bug Pom Pom Plushie

This cute love bug plush is a Valentine’s Day present and needs only one pom pom. The other materials you must have are googly eyes, a pipe cleaner, red felt, and a sewing needle.
Start by crafting an oversized aqua pom pom and glue two closely spaced googly eyes. Then cut two pieces of about 1.5cm and attach them to the top of the pom pom.
You also have to cut two small hearts from the felt and fill tiny stuffing with the help of a stick while sewing. Also, make small legs. It is an easy and cute stress toy.

Way #2: Craft A Bug Pom Pom Pokémon Plushie

This super-accurate Pikachu plushie is the result of CLEVER use of felt. I say so because the big base pom pom is basic. Use the 2 1/2 inch pom pom maker and trim the pom pom well after knotting the centre.
After this, insert the black safety eyes by pushing the fibres pom pom back. You will attach the keyring while knotting the middle of the pom pom, so use this method.
To make space for the eyes, use a crochet hook or felting needle. However, for the muzzle attachment, use a needle felting wo,ol and it would stay on the pom pom. Felt ears and blush will also be attached.
Way #3: Craft A Pom Pom Mickey Mouse

Surprisingly, this Mickey Mouse belly plush needs a single pom pom. For the two ears, you have to use the needle felting wool and attach them by piercing the needle. This technique can be learnt in detail with the help of many known resources.
For the pom pom, use a 2 1/2 inch pom pom maker or a cardboard base. You will also find out how to craft a sphere pom pom with one-half red and one-half black.
While wrapping around, also add small wrappings of yellow. Later, cover some of it with red by crossing the yarn. This will let you have two yellow spots on the pom pom.
With the leftover strands, knot the keyring, too. Stuff and sew felting wool and attach on either side.
Way #4: Craft A Pom Pom Jigglypuff Plushie

Again with the felting wool, felt, pom pom, and yarn needle, you can craft an accurate Pokémon character. This one will be a Jigglypuff face plushie and can be crafted around a single pink pom pom.
For this one, cut three layers from blue, white, and black felt and glue them. For attaching the eyes, use hot glue and set the fibres aside with the help of a felting needle.
Also, craft the ears and hair with felting wool. You must have that tool, as it is a core ingredient for many parts of this Jigglypuff stress toy.
Way #5: Craft A Pom Pom Bee Plushie

To craft this googly-eyed bee plushie, you will have to make two pom poms. The first one will be solid black, while the 2nd one needs wrapping two yarn colours together.
Clover pom pom maker simplifies making a pom pom so you don’t have to make temporary bases every time. Use a 2 ½ and 1 ⅝ inches pom pom maker.
While wrapping yarn for the body pom pom, you will want to form stripes of yarn by alternating between yellow and black wrappings.
That will make the end stripes in the body of the bee. For this bug plushie, you should use big googly eyes.
Way #6: Craft A Love Sushi Plushie
Learn how to make a white pom pom with a heart and make a heart sushi. For wrapping the pom pom, we shall be using black felt. The pom pom fibres make a perfect look of rice. You only have to trim the pom pom into a cylinder and then wrap it. Use a clover pom pom maker for a precise pom pom.
You will have to wrap the yarn on either side of the tool. First, wrap the white yarn, and with some of the turns overlapping, wrap to make a pizza-like wrapping.
