You are welcome to another fun discussion on “summer craft activities” for kids. Gonna talk about ONLY colorful, REALLY creative, and CUTE summer craft ideas for preschoolers.
Whether it’s by gluing kawaii eye cutouts, drawing a smile, or attaching the pieces of colored tissue paper, you will learn how to make your crafts cute and colorful in this discussion.
Starting with a UNIQUE and cute Father’s Day card and concluding with the LIFE-LIKE camprie painting, it will be fun! Included the upcycling crafts for CDs, popsicle sticks, and scrap paint, too. As for themes, they will be pineapple, turtle, air balloon, beach house, and all things summer! So, let’s talk about the crafts I am most excited for!

Easy Paper Shark Craft For Kids [Free Template]

So, Father’s Day is also during the summer vacations! Why not craft this Daddy Shark card this year with a FREE printable template? You can write: “You are the best daddy shark in the whole ocean.”
Or maybe you planned something else for Father’s Day, so give this 20-minute activity a try in Shark Week. There are two templates included in the download, and the 2nd one is for a group of kids. So, they can cut pieces of their own and assemble them separately!

Cute Turtle Craft

CDs are outdated, right? Well, at least those that belong to the 1990s, carrying dust somewhere! So, let’s upcycle one at a time with this colorful CD and Button turtle craft, also requiring googly eyes, cardstock, and marker colors. And, yes, there is a FREE printable template to take precise cutouts for turtle parts.
The idea is to glue the plastic buttons of different sizes, colors, and types onto the shiny side of the CD to make the turtle. Then? Just attach the colored pieces on the other side. Doesn’t sounds a fun activity?
Pineapple Craft For Kids

Let’s craft an oh-so CUTE memento of your preschooler’s growth with this handprint leaf pineapple craft. No painting, just with a FREE printable template for the fruit, guide the kids to take cutouts from the colored cardstock and assemble with glue.
Also, guide the kid to use a crayon or a marker to draw a pineapple pattern over the fruit part. This googly-eyed pineapple craft is definitely the cutest!

CD Hot Air Balloon Craft
This is also a CD upcycling craft and will let the kids make a flat and colorful hot air balloon. Require the colored tissue paper, popsicle sticks, brown markers, and the cardboard, too. Instead of paper, a CD makes the balloon look 3D.
Crumpling up the torn tissue paper also contributes to making this a 3D art project. Use school glue for the paper, and glue dots or hot glue for popsicle craft.
Easy Tissue Paper Ice Cream Craft for Kids

This hands-on ice cream cone craft activity is a must-try! You can let the kids make their favorite flavors from the blueberry to the pistachio by changing the color of the tissue paper. Luckily, for that Purr-fect shape of ice cream, there is a FREE printable template.
So, you can confidently give the preschoolers this craft project. It will certainly entertain them to see how the layers of tissue paper make light and dark areas over the ice cream scoop. Finish it off with puffy 3D paint to make the wafer pattern.
