HERE are NEW no-knit yarn plushies of this month, you can make in less than 15 minutes each. These are both mini animal plushies, including the pet plushies, such as the cat and puppy & wild animal plushies, such as the owl and Ermine (NEW animal plushie collectible).
For simple plushie lovers, there is a new way to make a heart plushie that does not need a heart cutout; just yarn and fingers.

While April is incomplete without the spring plushies, I have already shared many, so I enjoy making these new plushies in this method. What new will you learn? Well, how to use a cork as the base of a mini animal plushie, and how to make a plushie out of yarn wrapping alone. With all that said, let’s talk!
Suggestion #1: DIY Chubby Cat Plushie

Let’s craft an oh-so cute and miniature loaf cat plushie with this method. With its felt ears, lifted yarn-wrapped tail, and puffy muzzles, this will make the cutest Valentine’s Day, birthday, and even anniversary present. Make it in grey, brown, or honey along with the white for the face.
This plushie ends up being perfect as the cardboard bases will be used to wrap the yarn for pom poms. The base pom pom is a capsule pom pom, and the felting needle is used to make the white part of the face. Learn in just 9 minutes!

Suggestion #2: DIY Owl No-Knit Plushie

Learn how to make a little sitting owl plushie in 7 minutes with this method. It is all made from yarn wrappings and not the pom poms, using the cardboard bases. This is a similar method used in the horse plushie I talked about in the holiday yarn animal plushies.
Wings are made by wrapping two yarn strands together in different colors, which gives them an interesting, life-like look.
Both the grey and the brown owl look so adorable, but I would prefer the grey one as it has nice contrasting shades of black and white along with. Whether it is New Year’s, Christmas, or Thanksgiving, be sure to try these plushies.

Suggestion #3: DIY Ermine No-Knit Plushie

Finally, a NEW animal in our plushie curation series. Let’s make a life-like stoat or Ermine plushie that is so soft and adorable that you won’t resist but hold it from below its neck, just like it is your own pet. It has felt the nose and ears while the safety beads are inserted with the help of a felting needle.
With its baby pose, tiny arms and legs, and a tail below, it will definitely make an irresistible toy gift for kids.
Use acrylic and wool blend yarn for the same softness. We will be making a bicolor pom pom for the tail, while the legs are not pom poms but the yarn wrappings.

Suggestion #4: DIY A Basic Heart Plushie

In 5 minutes, learn how to make a PERFECT heart plushie for adding to a garland, greeting cards, or just to a keyring with this method. This method requires a fork, and by moving beyond the dinner fork, you can make it in different sizes.
We shall end up with a little flattened but nicely shaped heart plushie this way. Just start with wrapping the yarn just like you would normally do for the ball pom poms.
But you will want to make three of these and stack them in a ring. Then follow the trimming method, and it would naturally correspond to the heart shape. No need for preparing a heart base as the stacked pom pom lets you trim it naturally into a heart shape. Make it in different shades of red!

Suggestion #5: DIY A Yarn Puppy Plushie

Let’s make the cutest toy poodle puppy plushie out of yarn and pom poms ever with this method. It is a new and improved method and requires just two corks as the base for the puppy plushie body. I have already talked about similar puppy plushie ideas, such as the puppy plushie with a Kinder Joy capsule, tissue paper roll base, and more.
Start by gluing the corks and wrapping the yarn around. You can make it for Valentine’s Day, weddings, or more. You can make it in pink, white, or honey, and it will turn out to be cuter. Be sure to attach a keyring to use it as a bag charm.
