With that said, you will see the rainbow flower, tulip bouquet, heart flower, sunflower, and others, too. All need an easy folding pattern for the petals.

The catch in these pipe cleaner flowers will be the addition of smiling faces to pots and flower centers. For this reason, I call these pipe cleaner crafts kids’ favorites.

You can gift them at marriages, Valentine’s Day, birthdays, spring, and the New Year.

Learn how to work with the chenille stems from our detailed guide.

Way #1: Craft A Rainbow Flower Pot with Pipe Cleaners

DIY PIPE CLEANER vibrant Flower Pot

This is a 7-color pipe cleaner flower pot. To make, you need 7 green wires, 9 brown wires, and 14 wires in 7 colors.

I must call this the most vibrant and the cutest potted flower, ’cause of the colors used. With the smiling face in the center, kids are gonna love this craft.

The petal pattern is the simplest here. Just make two elongated loops from the middle of the pipe cleaner.

You need two petals per color for a bulky flower. The center will be 3cm in diameter.

For the other parts, twisting around the wire, rolling, looping, and knotting are needed. Also have some faux grass to fill in and safety beads for the face.

Way #2: Craft A Tulip Flower Pot with Pipe Cleaners

DIY PIPE CLEANER TULIP FLOWER POT

The tulip chenille flower pot features a kawaii character, elegance, and a perfect balance of colors.

For each pipe cleaner pot, craft 7 tulip plants using faux grass that can be made with yarn scraps.

The character comes from the kawaii eyes, smile, blush, bow head clip, and pom pom legs.

For the pot, you need 7.5 cm chenille stems and a Styrofoam ball with a flat cut part as a base. Just attach your beige stems around it.

Cover the base with a rolled stem. And craft the tulip buds by twisting, looping, cutting, and rolling.

Way #3: Craft A Flower Pot with Heart Plants

For this Valentine’s Day pipe cleaner pot, you need 17 red wires, 1 green wire, 1 brown wire, and 9 light brown wires.

The idea is to make the flower part of the plant a 3D pipe cleaner heart. The thin pipe cleaner stem also looks great.

Finish it with the no-glue LOVE pipe cleaner letters, pipe cleaner grass, and basket pot. For the heart, start with the 2cm and 1cm heart base, and keep on looping more and more.

Attach your hearts to pipe cleaners of different heights and gift them to a dear one. For the pot, you don’t need any base.

A real flower pot will have many small flowers, a large grown-up flower, and some flowers at a budding stage.

That’s what you can show in this pipe cleaner flower pot that is bright and colorful. (yellow, white, pink, and green).

To add some character, it will also have a pot face, arm, and smile. The large petal will be 6cm, so choose any smaller than this for little flowers.

Also, make some rolled-end greenery blades, faux grass, and a simple flower pot. Finish with the blush.

Chenille stem tulips are REALLY elegant on their own. However, I must admit how magnificent the blue tulips look. And from ease of crafting, a tulip is no less easier than a pipe cleaner sunflower and Lavender. Start with a 30cm pipe cleaner and make 6 zig zags of 3cm length each.
