Tutorial to Make A Christmas Wreath with Cardboard Base
Making a Christmas wreath with pipe cleaners is a fun and easy craft. First, you make a ring out of cardboard. This is the base of the wreath. Then, you wrap green pipe cleaners around the ring until the cardboard is all covered. Next, you make small green flowers using more pipe cleaners.
You twist them into four loops to look like leaves or petals. Put a small white pearl in the middle of each flower. Glue these flowers onto the green ring. Add some red beads to look like berries. Finally, glue a big red bow on top.
How to Make a Pipe Cleaner Christmas Wreath

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Make the Cardboard Ring

Place a large bowl on a piece of cardboard and trace a circle around it.

Place a smaller bowl in the center of that circle and trace around it.

Cut out the large circle, and then cut out the middle to make a ring. This is your wreath base.
Step 2: Wrap the Ring

Take a green pipe cleaner and wrap it tightly around the cardboard ring.

Keep adding more pipe cleaners, wrapping them right next to each other.

Continue until the entire cardboard ring is covered in green fuzzy pipe cleaners. Secure the ends with a little glue if needed.
Step 3: Make the Green Flowers

Take a green pipe cleaner and fold it to make a small loop. Twist it to stay in place.

Make three more loops in the same way on the same pipe cleaner to create a four-leaf shape.

Twist the remaining end of the pipe cleaner around the center to hold the loops together.

Make about 8 to 10 of these green leaf shapes.
Step 4: Add the Pearls

Use a small dot of hot glue to stick a white pearl bead into the center of each green leaf shape you just made.
Step 5: Decorate the Wreath

Glue the leaf shapes with pearls onto the bottom half of your green wreath base.

Arrange them so they overlap a little bit to look full.

Glue the small red beads (the berries) in between the green leaves to add a pop of color.
Step 6: Add the Finishing Touch

Put a large dab of hot glue at the top center of the wreath.
