Flower Pots

Let’s discuss these five REALLY creative ways to craft pipe cleaner potted flowers for desktops and windows. Learn how to craft tulips, sunflowers, and lavender with pipe cleaners and make cute pots.

Way #1: Craft A Lavender Potted Flower

DIY PIPE CLEANER FLOWER POT DECOR

Lavender petals in this pipe cleaner potted flower are the easiest. Take a 30cm pipe cleaner in purple or pink and make 5 turns around something oval, like a lighter. Separate the loops, press them, and the base bloom will be finished.

Craft 12 such blooms with a burned chennil stem in yellow for the middle. I will recommend you to cut the green pipe cleaners in different heights so each flower gets apperence.

That’s how a natural flower pot must look. Also, you can slice off the stems and add some stems without blooms at all. You can use a cardboard base for the pot. This pot will have kawaii eyes, tounge and legs also. Choose pink for the pot.

Way #2: Craft A Sunflower Potted Flower

With this clever method to craft two sunflowers, only 3 pipe cleaners are needed. Wrap the yellow pipe cleaner seven times around a ball pointer. Do the same for the other yellow and attach the two on opposite sides of the green.

Again, separate the loops to make 7 petals per sunflower. When you bend the green chenille stem in half, there will be a pair of sunflowers. For the brown part, just roll the pipe cleaner.

For this one, too, you need 12 sunflowers on stems of different heights. Add the sliced and bloomless stems, too. The pot will have blush, two round eyes, and a smile.

Way #3: Craft A Tulip Potted Flower

DIY PIPE CLEANER Tulip Flower Pot

Chenille stem tulips are REALLY elegant on their own. However, I must admit how magnificent the blue tulips look. And from ease of crafting, a tulip is no less easier than a pipe cleaner sunflower and Lavender. Start with a 30cm pipe cleaner and make 6 zig zags of 3cm length each.

Then lock each loop and fold them around into a usual basic flower. To get the tulip, align the tips of each pressed loop, and also align the edges side by side.

Again, I recommend slicing the stems and using stems of different heights. Also, attach a small bow and make zig-zag edging around the pot.

Way #4: Craft A Duck Potted Flower

A cute duck pot with googly eyes and a funny beak is a must-have for a little one’s room. The flowers you will fill this with are again basic. So, you have to wrap the pipe cleaner around a pencil, secure the loops, and fold them.

I cannot name the flower, but with the white beads in the centre, they look REALLY elegant.

Use yellow or orange for the blooms and make them with taller and shorter stems. I must say something about the braided crown you can craft on the top of the pot. It is cute.

Way #5: Craft A Pink Potted Flower

DIY PIPE CLEANER PINK Flower Pot

If you have a lot of pipe cleaner scraps, I recommend this really creative ice-cream pink flower pot. The idea is to weave a basket with pipe cleaners with basic pink flowers all around the styrofoam cone. You can use a coffee cup as a base for the basket.

Have a mix of baby pink and hot pink pipe cleaners, and also attach white beads in the centre of each. It will be a lively decoration for summer and spring.
