I must say, making this glitter foaming sheet snowflake is easier than all the others. You only need two types of cutouts.

One is the petal cutout from a 2 cm by 4 cm foaming sheet, and the second strip cutout of 1 cm by 12 cm.

You need a set of 8 snowflake petals with alternating purple and white petals and a strip covering.

So you need a total of 16 petals and 8 strip cutouts. Just glue all the petals around a circle foaming sheet. Wrap the other side with another circle and attach a bead.

Your New Year’s two-color snowflake will be ready to be hung.

Way #2: Craft A Snowflake from One Color

To craft this 3D classic snowflake from a glitter foaming sheet, you only take V-cuts and V-cutouts.

To begin with, use a 5cm by 5cm foaming sheet in your favorite color (a shade of magenta in our case).

It looks nicer with a single color of the sheet, so I recommend not adding another one.

For assembly, craft 8 pieces of petals from V-cut folds and 8 from V-cutout folds. Join them using hot glue around a circle of 2cm in diameter.

Turn the side for that unique and elegant look of a 3D snowflake.

Way #3: Craft A Glitter Sheet & Pipe Cleaner Snowflake

Maybe you want to craft a snowflake purely for winter. If so, craft this REALLY CREATIVE white snowflake with some silver pipe cleaners and a white glitter sheet.

It just needs one folding pattern for the glitter sheet from an 8cm by 8cm square sheet of foam.

Also, cut the square from the diagonal in half before making V-cuts and folding. You need a total of 8 snowflake petals for assembling.

Have some lengths of metallic pipe cleaner and attach them in inner part of your snowflakes. This will end up appealing and shining.

This is a 4-layer foaming sheet snowflake and requires the sheets in a bit larger quantity. For the front part, you need to fold 6 snowflake pieces, each with a set of three petals.

It will look great if you use two shades of your favorite color, such as pink, along with white.

Fold the rectangle strips of 16 cm by 1cm, 12cm by 1cm, and 8cm by 1cm to make the petal. Then attach them one upon the other.

The back panel alternates the snowflake pieces and also needs 6 of them. The following are the measurements for the rectangle strips:

11cm by 1cm in the main color
7cm by 1cm in white

Way #5: Craft A Foaming Sheet Popsicle Snowflake

This DIY glitter sheet snowflake is simple but REALLY creative. That is, you craft it by joining and hand-knitting the foaming sheet popsicles. To make the popsicle, cut a 1 cm by 5 cm strip from each color of glitter sheet.

Attach the ends with a glue gun and cut the other sides for rounded corners. Make 6 of such popsicle sticks and fold each into a snowflake petal.

This foaming sheet snowflake has my favorite petal pattern as it leaves a lot fewer gaps, unlike the previous ideas. You need 7 snowflake petals using the 3cm by 4cm sheets.

To make the petal, there will be many low-width cutouts and the middle cut with a wider width.

This looks classy and appealing when finished. Therefore, use a small glittery cord and a jewelry button in the centre. You can craft yours in pink, aqua, purple, or hot pink.
