Whether you have a polka dot, checkered, or patterned fabric, these DIY cushions can be crafted with that one.
And the thing is, they all are quick and easy to sew. There will be a talk on the heart cushion, cat cushion, apple cushion, and a few more interesting ones.

Suggestion #1: Craft A Sew Heart Cushion
Craft a cottagecore throw heart pillow for Valentine’s Day using polka dot, checkered, or lined fabric. The interesting detail you can add is the unstuffed ruffles around.
To begin with, you will draw and cut a heart on cardboard and use it as a base to cut two heart panels from the fabric.
You can, however, also use chalk to draw the heart directly on the fabric but it is not recommended.
To prepare the square fabric for work, cut another square from white fabric, but with 6cm more length for the sides. Attach it by sewing such that you get a diamond pattern on the fabric.
Use two such fabrics and always attach them with the safety pins. This will end up as a working pillow for a sofa or a bed.

Suggestion #2: Craft Velvety Hat Pin Cushion
Grab some pieces of velvet felt, fabric scraps, and an old CD to TURN them into an elegant sunhat pincushion. This suggestion is clever and super quick to get results. You can also use the polyester stuffing for filling inside the hat.
To wrap the CD, cut a circle of 20 cm diameter from velvet felt for the brim and sew around to make a bag for a CD.
Then insert your CD and tighten the strings. Then 16 cm circle for the hat top.
The fabric ring will be 6cm. Also, attach a ribbon of 26cm. This will complete a beautiful hat pin cushion. If you have, craft it using the brown and pink felt.

Suggestion #3: Craft A Plush Cat Cushion
The stuffed Pusheen cat pillow will be low-sew and easy to DIY. You can craft it with the polka dot fabric, a satin ribbon, and an embroidered face.
To begin with, cut a cardboard sitting cat base and draw with a lead pencil the cut. Before you cut, fold your fabric in two layers and sew the edges.
Then cut and sew the Pusheen cat. After you sew the cat into the ragdoll plushie, change the side of the cat.
Then stuff and use the needle to sew the remaining part. Use the glue gun to attach the bow ribbon. Kids will love to play with it as a buddy.

Suggestion #4: Craft A Flower Pin Cushion
Have just two square pieces of any fabric, a button, and some cotton stuffing to craft this REALLY creative flower pin cushion.
Whether you have polka dot, checkered, or flower print fabric, this hack will look CUTE. To mark the circle, you can use the old CD. Cut two panels, sew the edges, and mark the centre with a sewn cross.
After you cut from this, you can turn the side of the ball.
To create the petal with minimal effort, wrap some yarn around the stuffed ball. After you finish it, sew a “handmade” button, too.

Suggestion #5: Craft An Apple Pin Cushion
Fill your fall basket with this super EASY checkered craft apple with the real-looking stem. While I may recommend it as a Thanksgiving centerpiece addition, it is quite a lovely pin cushion.
With the green or red checkered fabric, craft a small pouch and push the top and bottom inside with a sewing needle.
You might need a leaf and an apple cardboard base for the leaf. Craft the leaf using solid green fabric.
For the stem, use a 6cm by 5cm rustic brown felt. You can use the glue gun for joining.
