Seashells, rocks, sand, and pearls are definitely the greatest beach memories you can bring home. A beach terrarium or coastal jar decoration can put them all together in a REALLY elegant way.
In this discussion, I will talk about some really clever ways to make a beach keepsake through DIY ocean jars for summer. We will be using the mason and pint jars, glass vase, waterbottles and even glitter bottles for these crafts.
Will be making the seashore scene with classic elements like seashells, rocks to modern ones such as umbrellas, small palm trees, and even a fish ice box. You can also use them as photo holders and beach wedding decorations for summer.

Suggestion #1: DIY A Beach Mason Jar Craft

Easy, timeless, and elegant seashell-covered mason jar decoration from 2021, perfect for a beach wedding, summer tablescape, or mantle. To begin with, apply decoupage glue to a clean mason jar and press broken seashells or faux rock filler onto it.
Let the glue dry for about twenty minutes so the shells do not slide. Afterwards, wrap twine around the rim to give it a rustic look. Works fine as luminaries with a flameless tea light.
Suggestion #2: DIY Beach Vacation Souvenir

Let’s fill a glass vase with seashells collected from the beach and some pearls to make this beautiful summer decoration. Start with a glass tube or mason jar (in case you don’t have a tube), and fill the bottom with sand or pearls.
You can make three layers in different pearl colors, such as glassy white, turquoise, and navy. Put your seashells on the top. It is pretty affordable.

Suggestion #3: DIY A Mini Beach Paradise

Let’s make a 3D beach around a mason jar by hand-painting the sea and covering the bottom with sand paste. You will first want to use the royal blue on the top and smoothly shift to the aqua down to the bottom.
After this is dry, add the thick white strokes for the seafoam. Insert the small white seashells, tiny beads, and faux moss afterwards.
Suggestion #4: Seaside Jars

For farmhouse decoration, craft these seaside mason jars using seashells, hessian, twine, and whitewash. To start, paint the glass jar lid with acrylic paint and wrap a strip of 8cm x 26cm patterned paper around it.
This might be a pebble or moss soil pattern. Decorate with sand, seashells, small pebbles, and twine in a way you like.
Suggestion #5: Quick and Easy Beach in a Bottle Keepsake

This Mason beach jar is the only summer vacation photo and memory holder you need. Being a simple and 5-minute idea, your little ones can DIY this by themselves.
Fill the jar with sand collected from the shore and add mementos like seashells, pebbles, and a photograph from your trip. You can also add a paper tag with your favorite line.

Suggestion #6: Beach in a Jar

As a 30-minute summer activity for kids, I recommend this “beach in a jar” table decoration. I like this most because a blue card is also tucked inside as a sky background with paper cloud cutouts attached.
The bottom is filled with moldable sand, which is recommended to better arrange the seashells of any shape. A half-pint jar would be perfect with a twine cord for the rim covering.
Suggestion #7: Beach-in-a-jar Seashell Keepsake Craft

Maybe you collected some beach stuff, but that cannot fill a standard mason jar. If so, you can craft this small beach keepsake jar filled with smooth river rocks, reindeer moss, seashells, and blue water beads.
You can also customize the lid with paint or glitter. While it contains water, you can also use epoxy resin to better secure everything in place.
Suggestion #8: Beach Mason Jar Terrarium

This is a collection of 4 unique ideas for DIY beach terrariums. Make modern beach scenes, such as using tiny flip-flops, umbrellas, small palm trees, and even a fish ice box. You can try the scene you have toy elements of.
The main learning here is how to prepare the base inverted jar with sand. To start, you can use air-dry clay or a halved Styrofoam ball on the jar lid.
Suggestion #9: DIY Beach Theme Aromatherapy Bath Salts

What could be a better gift than a bath salt therapy and a beach decoration jar? First, apply Mod Podge in the middle and roll the jar in sand. Then accent the jar with twine and small seashells using a hot glue gun.
For bath salts, mix Epsom salts with some drops of peppermint or lavender oil. The designer has made this for a wedding shower party favor.
Suggestion #10: Ocean Sensory Bottle DIY

Let’s turn an empty water bottle holder into an underwater sensory bottle. It is filled with cute silicone sea critters, including a seahorse, octopus, turtle, whale, and more.
You can put whatever you have, like the seashells. To put it together, fill the bottom with sand using a funnel, and color the water with blue food coloring.
Suggestion #11: Mini Colorful Bottle

Learn how to perfectly fill mini glass bottles with glitter and wool to make colorful and cute keychains. You can use the beach bottles or any jar, and also draw a kawaii face in the end.
The second bottle is crafted by filling a small bottle with color-socked wool. The third one has a straight stripe pattern, while the first one had a tilted stripe pattern.
