In this discussion, I will show you my selection of DIY pineapple crafts for summer, some of which came recently. From the obvious, pineapple craft activities for kids to expertise-needing ones like a crochet pineapple bag, I have tried to include all types of crafts.
My recommended ones are origami pineapple pencil holders, torn paper pineapple buddy. You will be surprised mainly by the creative ways to mimic the pineapple cross pattern.
Whether it be through Scotch tape and paint or stitching, they are REALLY out of the box. Summer activity paper crafts, in particular, are easier and come with a FREE printable template. So, I am hoping you gonna like this selection.
This is not my first discussion on SUMMER crafts. I have already talked about the ways to craft for summer in general and watermelon crafts in particular. If you are interested, check them afterwards, too.
Craft A Pineapple Paper Craft

This is the COOLEST Summer Name Craft for Preschoolers. Gonna be a COOL GUY pineapple paper buddy with sunglasses, smile, blush, and texture drawing, and a handprint cutout as a pineapple’s leaf. You can use cardstock in different shades of pink and green to trace the little hand and pineapple on.
It is recommended not to use a template for the base pineapple cutout to let kids show the best of their skills. Cut many colored and bordered circles, write name spellings, and attach them as a crown.
Craft a Pineapple Pen Holder

Let’s craft an origami pineapple pencil and color holder from a 21cm by 21cm square sheet in brown or yellow with this method. This does not require complex folds but only the Valley and Mountain Folds.
Using the origami, you will make the holder where you can draw the pineapple texture and a kawaii face in a way you are comfortable with. For the leaf cutout, you can use a template. The recommended paper is Tant.
Craft A Pineapple Pouf

Craft these easy and oh-so cute pineapple decorations for a luau party using tissue paper and cardstock. You can craft a handful of them in less than 30 minutes and decorate empty JUICE glasses with them. These poufs are easy to assemble and fill up a lot of space, making them affordable.
While you can craft that tissue ball yourself, the recommended one is to buy a pre-made yellow tissue pouf. You can also use tissue paper honeycombs, as they are commonly and cheaply available.
Rainbow Fruit Mason Jar Craft

This is a Mason Jar painting guide to make 5 oh-so colorful fruit pencil holders with kawaii faces, including a pineapple, one, too. Other ones include orange, kiwi, watermelon, and blueberry. To start, you should spray the jars with a white primer.
Once dry, you can use acrylic paint using paint brush. For the finer details, such as seeds or a cute face, you will want to use paint markers. Together, you can make a rainbow fruit set.
Handprint Pineapple Craft

In my opinion, this is the cutest and easiest pineapple craft to be made by little ones. Features wobbly craft eyes, smile, eyebrows, and blush, too.
To make it, trace a child’s hand onto yellow cardstock and cut it out. Paint the fingers green to show the leaves. You will want to use a yellow marker to draw a criss-cross pattern on the palm.

Handprint Popstick Pineapple Craft

This is a cute and easy pineapple decoration for summer, crafted from jumbo popsicle sticks and felt. You will want to use craft eyes of two sizes to make it look wacky.
Begin by gluing five sticks and painting them in bright yellow. Then add the gold diagonal lines. When the paint is dry, add face and green felt handprint cutouts as leaves.
Torn Paper Pineapple Craft

Torn-paper crafts are very forgiving and great for developing fine motor skills. This torn-paper pineapple buddy craft can be tackled without a template easily. The uneven pieces of construction also perfectly mimic the fruit texture of pipeapple, which you can consider a bonus.
You can help kids cut the 5 leaves and the felt mouth, as they might be challenging for them and need precision. Similar to the previous crafts, it also needs blush cutouts and googly eyes.
Felt Pineapple Plushies

This method shows how to hand-sew a cute and easy pineapple felt plushie. The plushie shape is basic, small, and pretty adorable. My favorite parts are the embroidered sleeping eyes, the optional flower applique, and the little layered leaves.
There is a FREE printable pattern for taking accurate cutouts, which makes it the easiest. There are also cross-stitch embroidery spots all around that you can skip, too. Craft for a little one.

DIY Fruit Pencil Pouches

This is a canvas bag customization tutorial for turning them into fruit pencil cases, including watermelon, kiwi, and pineapple. To start, you will need canvas pouches in colors like red, pink, or yellow, along with felt, acrylic paint, and foam pouncers.
Having colored pouches will significantly reduce the time. The idea is to use masking tape to make patterns like the crosshatch texture of a pineapple or the stripes on a watermelon. You can use a marker paint for fine details.
Pineapple Cup Craft

Use yellow paper cups, green Tant for the leaves, and a brown Sharpie to add crosses to craft this 5-minute pineapple container. They can be used as party drinks, holding delicious snacks, or organizing pens and crayons on a desk.
