Crochet Giant Strawberry Plushie: Written Instructions
This project is to make a giant strawberry. You will use thick chenille yarn to make it very soft and big. First, you will crochet the large pink body of the strawberry.
Then, you will crochet the green stem and five leaves. You will stuff the strawberry with fiberfill to make it round and squishy. Finally, you will use white yarn to sew small seeds all around the outside. It is a very fun and easy project.

When you reach the very top point of the leaf, crochet 5 sc into that single top stitch. Then, crochet 1 sc into every stitch down the other side of the leaf. Repeat this process for all five leaves. Fasten off and leave a very long green tail for sewing.

Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Lightly stuff the small green stem with a tiny bit of fiberfill.
Step 2: Place the green stem and leaves exactly on the top center of the pink giant strawberry body.
Step 3: You can use a small amount of hot glue under the center of the green stem to hold it firmly in place while you work.
Step 4: Thread your yarn needle with the long green tail. Sew down the edges of the green leaves onto the pink strawberry body. Place a few secure stitches between each leaf section and at the tips of the leaves so they lay completely flat against the strawberry. Fasten off and hide the green yarn inside.
Step 5: Thread your yarn needle with white yarn. Randomly stitch small vertical lines around the giant pink strawberry to look like strawberry seeds. Space them out evenly so the strawberry looks fully decorated. Tie off the white yarn and hide the ends inside the plushie.
