How to Make BOO Baby Ghost for Halloween
Skill Level: Beginner – Level 2. (We shall make a yarn wrapping, two-sided tassel, and turn it into one. The only thing that feels like a different level is making the embroidered eyes and the mouth!
Supplies Needed
- White acrylic wool yarn
- 3 pieces of tissue paper
- Glue
- Thread clipper (or scissors for cutting the yarn)
Optional helpful tools:
- Your hand (4 fingers) for wrapping the yarn (used as a measuring/forming tool, not a material)

Learn everything from making the yarn wrap, cutting the felt, and transforming it into a ghost plush ornament by following the video guide:
You will take white acrylic wool yarn and make 100 wrappings around your 4 fingers. Then, on one side of the wrapping, insert the yarn through and make a knot. Then, with a thread clipper, you will cut the loops on the other side to make a two-sided tassel. Take 3 pieces of tissue and scrunch them to make a capsule-like shape.
Cover it with the yarn in white and glue the end on! Fan out the fringes of the tassel on one side, insert the tissue base, and glue. Knot over this portion to secure it. Cover the bottom with the top fringes to make the ghost body, and that’s all.
