This is part 2 of “3 seasonal mini turtle amigurumi.” To prepare yourself for fall & Thanksgiving or Pie Day after the NEW Year, let’s crochet this miniature pumpkin pie turtle amigurumi. Luckily, this is the same pattern as the sunflower turtle amigurumi for the fall, and you can rightly crochet it in less than 30 minutes. To make a NICE contrast this time, we shall use the blue for the body, orange for the inside of the shell, and flour color for the edging.
You can also crochet the plush version of this turtle amigurumi, as it has gone viral. For this, you will also want to embroider the dough lines over the shell. Anyway, I have also shared two more food turtle plushies, including the strawberry and an eggplant version. Now, continue reading for the full mini turtle pattern.

Flippers/Legs (Make 4)
- Round 1: Magic ring, 6 sc (6)

- Round 3: (1 sc, 1 inc) x 6 (18)

Shell & Belly Pieces
- Top Shell (Orange):
- Round 1: Magic ring, 6 sc (6)
- Round 2: 6 inc (12)
- Round 3: (1 sc, 1 inc) x 6 (18)
- Round 4: (2 sc, 1 inc) x 6 (24)
- Round 5: (3 sc, 1 inc) x 6 (30)
- Round 6: (4 sc, 1 inc) x 6 (36)
- Rounds 7–8: 36 sc (36). Fasten off.
- Belly Piece (Teal):
- Repeat the Top Shell pattern through Round 7. Fasten off.

Petals & Assembly (Yellow)
- Join the Orange shell and Teal belly pieces together with wrong sides facing inward.
- Standard Petals: Join Yellow yarn through both pieces. Chain 2, work 3 dc into the next stitch, chain 2, and sl st into the next stitch. Repeat this sequence around the shell.
- Head Gap: When you reach the front, leave an opening of about 6 stitches. Work 3 petals through the Orange shell loops only, skipping the Teal belly stitches to create the gap for the head. Resume joining both layers once you pass the head area. Stuff the shell before completing the final petals.
Final Assembly
- Attach the head by tucking the neck tab into the gap at the front of the shell and sewing it securely to both the top and bottom layers.
- Sew the 4 flippers to the bottom edges of the teal belly piece.
- Secure the eyes onto the head and also embroider the eye white.
